What is Streak Freeze Insurance?#
Streak Freeze Insurance is a proactive protection token. Unlike retroactive repairs (which fix a gap after it happens), a Streak Freeze is held in your inventory and automatically consumes itself if you are unable to study yesterday.
How Automatic Activation Works#
- You purchase a Streak Freeze Token for 80 Coins from the Rewards Page.
- If you miss a study day (e.g. due to travel or illness) and return the next day:
- Mudawim detects the 1-day missed gap on startup.
- Automatically consumes 1 active freeze token.
- Adds yesterday to frozenDates and studyDates.
- Your consecutive streak remains 100% intact without breaking!
Monthly Limits & Costs#
To prevent abuse and keep habit discipline sharp:
- Cost: 🪙 80 Coins per Freeze Token.
- Inventory Limit: Up to 2 active tokens held at any time.
- Monthly Limit: Maximum 2 freezes used per calendar month.
