Distraction-Free Video Stage#

Mudawim's video stage isolates the YouTube embed from algorithmic sidebars, recommendations, and distracting comments.

Player Features:#

• Auto-Resuming: Automatically resumes exactly where you left off during your last session.
• Speed Stepper: Switch between 0.75x, 1.0x, 1.25x, 1.5x, 1.75x, and 2.0x playback speeds.
• Theater & Fullscreen Mode: Maximize the video canvas while keeping the note-taking dock accessible.

Timestamped Markdown Notes#

Taking notes without time context makes reviewing technical tutorials frustrating. In Mudawim, every note can be anchored to the exact second in the video:

1. Click the Timestamp Note button or press keyboard hotkey `N`.
2. A new note card is created with the current playback time pre-filled (e.g. [14:32]).
3. Write your summary using standard Markdown (code blocks, bullet lists, bold text, quotes).
4. Whenever you click on the timestamp badge in the future, the video instantly seeks to that exact second!

Tagging & Pinning Critical Notes#

• Pinning: Click the Pin icon to pin essential formulas, cheat sheets, or key code snippets to the top of your course notes.
• Color Tags: Categorize notes with tags like Bug Fix, Key Concept, Exam Review, or Code Snippet.

Global Notes Hub & Search#

Access the dedicated Notes Hub from the sidebar to:

• Search across all notes across all workspaces simultaneously.
• Filter notes by workspace, playlist, pinned status, or tag.
• Click any note to jump straight into the corresponding video lesson at the saved timestamp.
